SAMS -Scottish Association for Marine Science/UHI

SAMS is working during the pandemic although most staff are working from home. Only essential tasks that cannot be done from home are carried out in the laboratory, where strict operating guidelines are implemented and constantly reviewed in light of the developing situation with the pandemic. We have been open throughout the lockdowns to deliver essential services such as monitoring for food safety and to look after the living organisms in our care.

Undergraduate and MSc teaching will be mostly delivered remotely.

The Ocean Explorer Centre remains closed until further notice.
